Every term begins with a shared purpose to lead and serve the Electronics Engineering community. What followed this year was a chapter filled with countless meetings, late night preparations, and unexpected challenges. At the forefront of it all was a leader who stood her ground. 🤝

True leadership is not about being the loudest voice. It is about being there when a student is completely stuck on a circuit diagram or cannot figure out a coding error. Her term was not just about managing events. It was about ensuring no one felt like they were sinking.

The organization now turns the final page on the journey of our Chairperson for Academic Year 2025 to 2026. This quiet generosity and genuine care is the legacy she leaves behind. ✨

🇵🇭 Representing the Philippines in Space Exploration: Adamson University’s Dr. Mark Angelo C. Purio Joins International Analog Astronaut Mission in Poland

Adamson University proudly celebrates Dr. Mark Angelo C. Purio, Head of the Space Technologies and Applications Research Laboratory (STARLab) and Associate Professor of the Electronics Engineering Department, for representing both the University and the Philippines at the LunAres Analog Astronaut Mission M4.26 in Poland.

As the Philippines' fourth Analog Astronaut and the country's first Engineer Analog Astronaut, Dr. Purio joins an international crew in advancing research that supports future lunar and Martian exploration. During the mission, he also contributes to Adobo4Space, a collaborative initiative with the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI), and UPD Department of Food Science and Nutrition, bringing Filipino innovation—and even Filipino flavors—to space research.

This remarkable milestone reflects Adamson University's commitment to research, innovation, and global engagement, inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and space explorers.

Congratulations, Dr. Purio! We are proud to see Adamsonian excellence reaching beyond Earth.
