The Philippines faces one of its most controversial issues that directly threatens the humanitarian mission of the people: The Pax Silica Initiative. Sacrificing approximately 1618-hectare of land and obtaining rare earth materials from the country, various advocacy groups and humanitarian communities now join forces as they continue to fight for their living spaces, workforces, and valued resources.
