A Tribute to Kitu Kansol
Today, we honour the life and legacy of Kitu Kansol of the Pauakak Tribe, Tsak Valley, Enga Province, a man whose kindness, humility, and love for people touched many lives.
Kitu Kansol was more than a leader. He was a source of comfort, strength, and hope to his community. He welcomed people with an open heart and treated everyone with dignity and compassion, regardless of their background or circumstances. His love was never limited to a chosen few. He cared for all, and his people knew that his heart was always turned toward their wellbeing.
He was a selfless leader who devoted himself to the progress and happiness of his community. He desired the very best for the people around him, not for personal recognition, but because serving others was part of who he was. His leadership was expressed not only through words, but through his generosity, understanding, and genuine concern for the lives of those he served.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we give thanks to God for the gift of his life. The memories he created, the kindness he shared, and the example he set will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, his people, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kitu Kansol may no longer walk among us, but his legacy remains. It lives in the people he encouraged, in the community he loved, and in the values of compassion, unity, and selflessness that he demonstrated throughout his life.
As he rests in the presence of God, may his soul find eternal peace. May God comfort his family, strengthen the Pauakak Tribe, and bring peace to the people of Tsak Valley and all of Enga Province during this time of mourning.
Rest peacefully, Kitu Kansol.
Your kindness will not be forgotten.
Your leadership will be remembered.
Your love for your people will continue to inspire generations.
Your legacy lives on.
