Rest in God's love Late Officer Fredah Taimbari

Mrs. Taimbari was a supporter of our company before she officially joined as an officer.
Her contributions through arranging for media coverage for any special events GB celebrated and prepping girls and officers on how to go about with respective interviews was a blessing.
On the 3rd of Oct 2021, after receiving GB Officer training, she was commissioned as an officer where she served as officer to the pioneer section till her call home to rest.

1st Koki Company, our Captain, officer, young leaders, all brigaders, helpers and parents acknowledge the life of service this special woman had.
Out from her normal 8-5 work schedule she dedicated her tike amd resources to GB.
We hold close in our prayers Her son Jordan and daughter Indira (who is one of our faithful junior girls); may God grant uou His comfort amd peace during this difficult time.

Officer Freda Taimbari, we salute you. You have done well, uou have served your God till the end. And it pleased Him to call you onto Himself to take rest.

We will continue on in this journey of service in GB in honor of you and your legacy.

Rest in Love, till we meet again.

✨️Setting the pace for your day

The Dalai Lama's quote highlights the power of positive thinking, particularly when we start our day with a positive mindset. Here's how a small positive thought can significantly impact your day:
✨️Sets the Tone: Our initial thoughts upon waking up can influence our overall mood and outlook for the day. A positive thought acts as a mental primer, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day:

✨️Attracts Positivity: Positive thinking can attract positive experiences and interactions. When we approach the day with a positive attitude, we're more likely to see opportunities and solutions instead of problems and obstacles:

✨️Reduces Stress: Positive thoughts can help reduce stress and anxiety. By focusing on the positive aspects of life, we can alleviate negative emotions and promote a sense of calm and well-being.

✨️Boosts Motivation: A positive mindset can increase motivation and drive. When we believe in ourselves and our abilities, we're more likely to take action and pursue our goals.

✨️Improves Relationships: Positive thinking can improve our relationships with others. When we approach interactions with a positive attitude, we're more likely to build stronger connections and resolve conflicts peacefully.

✨️Enhances Overall Well-being: A positive mindset can contribute to overall well-being, including physical health. Studies have shown that positive thinking can boost the immune system, reduce the risk of heart disease, and improve overall life satisfaction.

Remember, even a small positive thought can have a ripple effect, positively impacting your entire day. So, start your day with a positive thought, and watch how it transforms your experience.

We appreciate the opportunity given by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) through Girls' Brigade PNG to have 2 of our pioneer girls attend he workorkshop focused on:

Eliminating hate speech and online attacks
Combating technology-based gender-based violence
And
Promoting peace and respect in our communities.

🌟 Empowering Girls to Take a Stand! 🌟

On December 4th, two of our Pioneer Girls from 1st Koki Company had the incredible opportunity to attend a UNFPA Workshop in Port Moresby. This insightful workshop focused on:
💬 Eliminating Hate Speech and online attacks
🚫 Combating technology-based gender-based violence
🤝 Promoting peace and respect in our communities

The workshop was part of the Bodyright Campaign, which raises awareness about these pressing issues and equips young people with tools to create safer online and offline environments.

We’re so proud of these young leaders for stepping up, learning, and being part of the solution. Together, we can build a world that embraces kindness, equality, and respect for all. 💙

✨️Motivation Monday

We want to be reminded as we enter this week that success is not just personal achievements or status, but also the positive impact we as individuals have e on those around us; be it at home, at school, work, our church or the community we live in.
True success is measured by the value we each bring and how our actions improve the lives of others. Actions both big and small.
Let's walk this week with this in mind and as much as possible try to bring positivity in all we do.

GBPNG also sends its warm regards and prayers to all year 8 students around PNG who are sitting for their final exams this week.

13/10/2024

As we begin a new week lets be reminded that:
Committing to the Lord means trusting in His plan for our lives. This can be difficult, especially when things don’t go as we had hoped or planned. But we can find comfort in knowing that God’s plans are always for our good, even if we can’t see it in the moment.
Committing to the Lord also involves seeking His guidance in all that we do. This means praying and asking for His will to be done in our lives. It also means being open to His leading and being willing to let go of our own plans if they do not align with His.
One of the hardest parts of committing to the Lord is surrendering control. We often want to be in control of our own lives and make our own plans. But when we surrender control to God, we can experience a sense of peace and freedom. We no longer have to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders because we trust that God is in control.
When we face challenges or uncertainties in life, it can be easy to doubt God’s plan for us. But we can find strength and encouragement by remembering God’s faithfulness in the past. He has always been with us and has always been faithful to His promises. This can give us the confidence to continue committing to the Lord and trusting in His plan for our lives.

GB PNG wishes everyone a blessed week ahead.
We also send our regards, prayers and best wishes to all Grade 12 students arojnd the nation who will be sitting for their final exams this week.
