Today we sent 20 TBF bags packed with toys reading & activity books, crayons & color pens. This donation is in support of our local Rugby 7s team Bialla Suaras as part of their community service initiatives. They will be donating these bags to the kids at our local hospital in Bialla WNBP.

We hope and pray that these little gifts will bring some Christmas cheers to these little kids at the hospital. 🙏🏾🩵

Following up on our prior announcement, we are now collecting donations of the following items listed below and on the flyer:
- KIDS READING BOOKS,

- BEAN BEDS, PILLOWS
- PICTURE/NUMBERS/ALPHABET CHARTS,
- KIDS CHAIRS & TABLES/LAP TABLES & MORE BOOKS! etc...

We will be very happy to come by to pickup the donations or make arrangements for pickup. 🙌

These donations will be prefect as well in spreading the joy and blessings of this Christmas to our little rural kids. Since the schools will be closed by then and the kids will be away for their Christmas holidays, just imagined the extra joy they will feel when they return in 2025 to a surprise library corner filled with reading books for them to enjoy! 🤩🥰🙌🐢

Hello everyone!
Yes! we have been missing in action (MIA) for almost the whole year! 😇

Unfortunately some circumstances are beyond our control and we were not able to bring all our plans for 2024 into full action! But this has not shattered our spirits one bit! 🙌 We are determined more then ever to keep pushing for our mission to reach our rural early childhood learning centers and elementary schools. 🙌🤩

Therefore, we are ending this year with our mini library corner setup project! As you may have been aware, apart from our stationery donations, we have three minor supporting projects under TBF. These are setting up Mini Libraries or Library Corners; assist in the building and maintenance works of existing ECLCs & elementary schools’ libraries, and create and distribute marine and environmental conservation awareness kits to our rural schools.

Over this Christmas break, we will visit two rural elementary schools in WNBP to set up library corners to help them store and keep safe their library books that were donated to them through the stationery donations done in the past two years. We also have few boxes of library books that were donated by our incredible partner Sir Brian Bell Foundation through the Buk bilong Pikinini back in 2022 and few more from various donations collected last year. These will go towards these two schools mini library corners.

Look out for our donation drive callout later this week. We hope you can come on board once again and support us by donating! 🙏🏼

Hello everyone! 🤩

We are very excited to share that yesterday Niunet dropped off three laptops from LiteHaus International as part of their Digital Infrastructure Program in the Pacific! 🙌

We are proud members of the Sir Brian Bell Foundation family, coming together to improve digital literacy outcomes in PNG! 🤩🙌

TBF is so grateful for this wonderful support as we prepare to roll out our next project in extending our work to include teaching resource support for the teachers of our rural and remote early learning centers/schools and elementary schools in 2024! 🙌

World Children's Day, 20th Nov, 2023.

"2023 Theme: For every child, every right"

The UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child on this date in 1954 and later in 1990, adopted both the Declaration and the Convention on children's rights.

It is a significant event that has since been celebrated on the 20th November annually, to promote our children's rights and create more awareness in improving the welfare of children worldwide.

We acknowledged this important day as we are committed to making sure that underprivileged children in the rural and remote parts of our country, continue to have the opportunity to attend school and have stationery items to help them in their education. We also pray and hope kids in such similar circumstances in other parts of the world, are getting the support and assistance they need in their education journeys.

We are always grateful for the continued support from our major partners Sir Brian Bell Foundation and PNG Air, and everyone who has been supporting our work.

Together we contribute to make positive impacts in the education development of our children in rural & remote PNG.

Hello everyone! 🤩

We hope you are doing well out there despite challenges life may throw at us! 💪🏾😊

We have been facing few setbacks since our last schools' donations visits. But this hasn't dampened our spirit and drive to keep going with our work because despite those moments, we are reminded once again of how amazing our God is when we continue to receive support from other wonderful organizations and individuals. 🙏🏾🤩

We are incredibly grateful for the kind support by this amazing organization Girls' Brigade 1st Koki Company and the wonderful people behind it Dange-Augustha Barziring who have reached out to us & had our donation box setup at their stall during the POM city markets last Saturday. We know it's always a little bit difficult to collect donations there but we really appreciate the thought and the support given with the donations you have collected. 🙌💚

We will prepare these donations to be ready for distribution early 2024 as there are still so many little kids out there in the rural and remote parts of the country that need the help and support. 🖍️🖍️📚

We have seen the joys and happiness on the kids faces when they received their turtle bags of stationery and reading books and we are more than ever, determined to reach as many other rural kids so they too can have such little opportunities and experiences. 👧🏾🧑🏾👧🏽🧑🏿🙌💚
