🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 A massive thank you to our termly volunteers, who donate their time to open our toy library every Saturday. Sometimes volunteers bring along their tamariki, who enjoy a play while they are on duty 💖

If you would like a rostered membership, it’s only $20 for the year and you are required to volunteer 4 times (once a term) from 9-11am across the year ☺️

💛“MOBILO”

❣️Have you ever used the mobilo from our local toy library?

💙The Mobilo Bulk Set is an easy-to-use construction set that fits together using a clip action. The components are versatile and moveable – they swivel and rotate, making them a unique and fun building set. Children will develop their creativity and learn basic engineering skills as they construct buildings towers, ladders and vehicles.

💛We have those available for issue at the Featherston Toy library. From fire engines 🚒, to space ships 🚀, to diggers 🚜 and many other vehicle, houses 🏡 and castles 🏰, we look forward to hearing how this can be used!

💛 For your generous donation to our toy library! We have been able to fill gaps in our stock and cater to under 2s more with some new toys and resources to add to our toy library!

💛 We can’t wait to share these new toys with our growing community!

Lottery Community grants are available for not-for-profit organisations that have a community or social service focus, and which help improve the quality of people’s lives in the community, hapū and iwi.

The committee have been busy spending some grant money from the Lotteries grant board on some new resources for our lovely members to borrow 🙌🏻

How great to have 4 new board games arriving in our toy library ✨ We hope you have fun using our toys 😎 We are so grateful for this grant money from the Lotteries and look forward to sharing other purchases we have been able to make with their grant 🙏

😊Just a reminder that tomorrow is our final Saturday for the term! We will be open 9-11am this Saturday 28th. Make the most of our opening hours and come on down to swap your toys.

The Featherston Toy Library had a great meeting in the sunshine this afternoon ☀️ What a great way to enjoy this glorious day but also be proactive in planning and making our toy library operate effectively 🙌🏻

We also farewell one of our committee members, Rohan. Rohan we thank you for all of your mahi being our “membership coordinator”. We appreciate your time and effort and will miss you at our meetings 😎
