Young engineers across the motu connected through site visits, learning and social events in April!

In Southland, members went behind the scenes at Mercury Energy’s Kaiwera Downs Stage 2 wind farm, while in Manawatū, student engineers came together for a movie night.

In Ōtautahi Christchurch, young engineers explored how recovery alliances respond to major natural hazard events, and in Whakatū Nelson, members joined an exclusive walkover of Port Nelson’s new mobile boat hoist facility. Waikato Young Engineers rounded out the month with quizzes, kai and good company at The Cook.
