** The Valley Voice is looking for contributions from our community!**

Whether you've got a story to tell, a local issue you'd like to highlight, photos from around the valley, a poem, an article, a letter to the editor, environmental news, business updates, historical snippets, community events, or information about social action and local projects, we'd love to hear from you.

The Valley Voice is made by and for the Aro Valley community, and community contributions are what make it such a valuable local publication.

Local businesses and organisations are also encouraged to advertise and connect with valley residents through the paper.

🥕 Kai Ora Food Co-op — Weekly pick-up, 5–6pm (sign up online)
☕ Living Sober — Fridays, 5:30–6:30pm

Our other regular classes and community groups continue as usual. Check out the schedule above to see what's happening in the hall each week.

Join us on Saturday 30 May for a special Musical Instrument Fixit Fair from 11am–4pm. Bring along instruments in need of a little TLC, learn some repair skills, or just come hang out with fellow music lovers and tinkerers.

Then stick around for a special evening gig with Trash Planet from 7pm–11pm 🎸

A full day of community, creativity, repair and live music right here in the valley.

**Let’s Break the Pattern – Community Action to Make Aro Valley safer**

📍 Aro Valley Community Centre
📅 21 May, 7pm

Join us for a community discussion with Tamatha Paul, MP about recent law changes aimed at better protecting stalking victims, and what these changes mean for our community.

Hear from Zeni Gibson, a former Aro Valley resident who recently shared her experience in the three-part documentary series *Stalked*.

Together, we’ll reflect on how we can make our community safer and better support those affected by harmful behaviour.

Please note: discussions will include references to stalking and violence against women. We understand this may be triggering for some people.
