We will have a time stamped waiting list when registrations have reached capacity for our season.

Some FAQ’s:
• We are Kāpiti based (Not Gisborne 😜 although we’d love their waves!)
• We are family fun surfing sessions NOT surf lifesaving.
• All parents/caregivers must supervise their child/ren. It’s not a drop off service.
• We do not hire out boards or run casual surf lessons. Our surf coaching and soft top boards are used during our Sunday sessions 10-12noon.

🌊 Waikanae Surfing Club Update 🏄‍♀️

Kia ora everyone,

We’ve been receiving lots of messages about when registrations will open for the 2025/2026 season — thank you for your enthusiasm! 🙌

Registrations and season dates will be announced soon. Our committee is currently working through logistics as the Waikanae Boat Club renovations continue. We do have a space to move into, but no confirmed date yet.

If we need to operate out of our trailer again, we may need to make a few adjustments to how the season runs. This means our upcoming season will start a little later than usual — though let’s be honest, the weather hasn’t exactly been helping either! 🌧️

We really appreciate your patience, excitement, and support as we work to ensure everything is set up properly before we dive in.
