We have made a few changes to the menu, we have left some favourites and added a few new dishes.

What’s new?

We have a vegetarian/vegan option burger, we also now have Gluten Free buns just let the bar staff no and we will make that switch.

We also have gluten free pizza bases and takeaway options for pizza if you want couch snacks when you get home.

We also offer battered or pan fried fish! With the pan fried fish your choice of Fries or baby potatoes.

We have added a salad for the summer! You choose to have it as a house salad or add chicken or falafel.

We have also revamped the menu with a new look and design.

On Fridays the kitchen is open at 4pm
Sundays, kitchen is open at 3pm

We are teaming up with another local Kapiti business Elite Ride and Mobility Services to offer our members 50% off taxis home from KBC.

All you have to do is show your membership card to the driver, this can be your plastic card or your digital card, but it must show the expiry date.

We value the safety of our members, but we also want you to enjoy what Kapiti Boating Club has to offer.

You will see their posters dotted around the club with their number, also business cards for you to take as you never know when you'll need a taxi. Give them a call, or ask the bar staff to ring them.

To KBC Tractor Members

Current financial members who have not changed to the new GREEN tag the tractor will not be left out when you come back in to the beach after the end of November.

During October. The current orange tags will be changing to green.

Trailer Tag Changeover

We’ll be available every Sunday throughout October, starting Sunday 11 October, between 3pm and 4pm for members to change their tags over.

We may also have a few additional evening times available, so keep an eye out for updates on these. You will also recevie a text message from as a courtesy reminder.

When you come in, you will be issued the same tag number you currently have, just in the new green colour.

Going forward, we ask that only one current tag is displayed per trailer. You can keep your old orange tag or dispose of them as you wish.

Membership Renewal
If you need to renew your tractor membership, you can do this online or when you come along to change your trailer tag.

Please make sure your membership is renewed and your trailer tag has been changed by 30th November.

After this date, memberships that have not been renewed and/or tags that have not been changed will be cancelled, and access to the Kāpiti Boating Club tractors will no longer be available.

Tractor members, with your membership you also have a social membership included, we are open Fridays from 4pm and Sundays from 3pm. If you do not already please follow our page: Kapiti Boating Club

What a welcome back!

I must say it was so lovely so see all our members out on a beautiful sunny day on the coast come along to our grand reopening.

For those who have been members for a while probably noticed a few changes here and there 😜 and I hope you enjoyed.

We also have lots of new faces around the club so welcome to Kapiti Boating Club. I hope you enjoyed coming down to see what we have to offer.

Just a few reminders ✨

We are open Fridays from 4pm until late with kids under 12 eat free with an adult meals and every second last Friday we have a members draw you have to be at the club to win.

Sundays we have live music by local Kapiti musicians from 3pm-6pm, open until late

Once summer comes there’s also a chance for some Thursday evenings as well. So watch this space

If anyone has any questions or would like to come chat, I am Katie and you can find me most evenings at the club from 3pm or working behind the bar on Fridays and Sundays.
