decorations, trinkets, gifts - pottery is fab for Christmas stuff 🎁 and whilst this seems a little early to think about it, the pottery process takes a bit of time! After our workshops we let your pieces dry, clear glaze them and then get them through the kilns, which in total can take 3-4 weeks. So if you’ve got some ideas for your tree, want a personalised platter for Christmas dins, or have a special gift in mind, get booked on to one of our regular hand build workshops in the next few weeks 🎄

We have hand build classes running 11am-1pm Tues-Fri, then 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm on Saturday, plus 6-8pm Tues-Thurs evenings 💕

If you’d like to have a go at pottery on the wheel but unsure where to start, our crash course next Sunday is a good option. Five hours to really give it a nudge, where you learn the basics of wedging, centering, pulling a cylinder and can have a crack at creating some bowls or handles for a mug. You can then come back to glaze with our gorgeous dipping glazes at a later date after they’ve all been bisque fired. Drop us a message if you’re interested!

time flies eh. October seems like a good time to slow down, get some mud in your hands, connect with your whānau.

This next week we’ve still got our school holiday programme, including a Sunday special for some fairy houses!

A few specials to look out for 👀 up first our wheel crash course, perfect chance to have a good go at throwing! Then some keep cups and spooky pieces for Halloween 👻

& the dates of our bi-weekly Friyay with clay and wheel experience 😍

Plus all our regular hand build workshops and courses! It’s a good time to get any Christmas decorations/ presents done so they’re out the kilns in time 🎄🎁
