Rangiora Promotion Association (RPA), formally ‘Our Town Rangiora’, was established in 1996 and is a group of business people focused on promoting and developing Rangiora as an attractive and thriving community, offering a desirable lifestyle for businesses, residents and visitors. The objective of RPA is to keep Rangiora prosperous, accessible and vibrant with a strong sense of community, while r

ecognising the unique characteristics of our town. RPA offers an annual membership for local businesses and non-profit organisations to be a part of the association and to access the promotional benefits for their business / group. RPA also delivers successful community events and networking functions and is committed to actively promoting these, the town of Rangiora generally and to supporting wherever possible the activities and events within it. By doing all of the above RPA aims to connect our community, maintain momentum and link a wide range of businesses. Rangiora Promotions is managed by a Board of 14 people who are driven to delivering events, increasing the Town profile, giving our members a “Voice” not just in terms of customers but also a profile voice throughout the region and also where necessary a voice at the Council table. We support the town, the business operators, promote events and advocate for a variety of crowd pulling operations from music to motoring to Festivals. Thank you to the Waimakariri District Council who provide us with an annual Capacity Funding Grant to support our operations. Additional funding is sourced through sponsorship and grants throughout the year. We welcome new members and sponsorship offers - help us make Rangiora a great place to live and do business. It's your town and the town is your future! Rangiora Promotions Association - Promotions Policy:

The purpose of promoting the businesses / groups of members is to connect our community and link a wide range of businesses / groups to assist with developing the desirable lifestyle for businesses / groups, residents and visitors as above. RPA wishes to help local businesses / groups thrive. As such the fundamental purposes behind the promotion of our local business and community group members are to:

1. Inform and/or share information rather than advertise
2. Promote the business / group rather than the product
3. Assist new businesses / groups to get established locally
4. Assist community groups to fundraise via events or product sales

RPA members seeking sponsorship for their own events or products, fundraising events or access to the RPA membership lists to approach members for sponsorship, is considered outside the above scope and accordingly all such requests will be politely declined. RPA however reserves the right to approach it’s members regarding sponsorship for the schedule of major local events it organises. We welcome you to participate on our Rangiora Promotions page.
