Hey team, if youve ever wondered where the Hunters4Hope venison mince gets shared.

We are so grateful to Hope Community Trust for handling the distribution of the venison mince to over 50 community groups from Timaru to Nelson, including Drug-ARM Christchurch.

And thank you to Drug-Arm Christchurch for transforming such a basic ingredient in to a culinary feast to help the homeless.

Venison & watercress cobweb loaves served last night by Drug-Arm Christchurch street van. Distributed by Hope Community Trust supplied by Hunters4Hope.

1835kg of donated venison delivered to Hope Community Trust today.

Todays donation, plus the 200kg gifted to Banks Peninsula Rununga last week, has brought us up to 6860kg of donated venison year-to-date, equating to 54,880 meal portions of protein donated by the local and international hunting community in 2026 alone..

The Hunters4Hope venison mince, through our very good friends at Hope Community Trust has been shared with over 50 community groups, South Island wide, and the network is still growing.

Some of the groups that have received some hunters4hope venison mince recently, which has been utilised to support food assistance programs in their respective regions.

Canterbury based charity Hunters4Hope is helping manage wild deer in DOC reserves on Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū/Banks Peninsula - with the venison going to those in need.

Hunters4Hope are sincerely grateful to all of the Hunting Outfitters, that go above and beyond to harvest so much high quality protein from the clients Trophy animals, to help feed the less fortunate.

The long days on the hill, securing the "once in a lifetime" specimen animal for their clients, then butchering the meat to get it back to chillers, to then donate it to feed the hungry.

Hunters4Hope are grateful beyond words.

This is what its all about folks, international hunters, coming to regional NZ, spending their hard earned $$ in local economies, and donating the meat from their trophy animals, to help the regions less fortunate.

Big Thank you to New Zealand Safaris along with all of our other Outfitter partners, and their respective hunting clients for doing the hard work to make these donation happen.
