Expressions of Interest are now open on our website for our 2026 Impact100 grants!

The criteria for our EoI's are:

🟣 Applications must be for at least $100,000
🟣 The impact of the grant must predominantly benefit the Whakatipu
🟣 Applicants must be a registered charity or incorporated society

There is lots of info on our website, or please get in touch if you have any questions as we realise our grants process is different from other funders you may have applied to before. We are happy to answer any questions or discuss your idea with you.

Fantastic to read about the progress of the Rees Valley takahe population - now at 89! Proud to be a key funder to the project to enable the takahe to not just survive, but to thrive!

Years of predator control and trapping in the valley near Glenorchy has made it home to the largest wild population outside their original Fiordland habitat.

A new chapter for Impact100 Whakatipu 💫

From launching our values, vision and mission, to expanding our grants model with capacity-building support, introducing Impactships, and welcoming more women into our community - this past year has been one of growth, learning and evolution.

As part of that evolution, our Governance Committee has officially become our Board, reflecting the maturity and strength of the organisation we’ve built together.

Clare announced last week that after years of dedicated leadership, she is stepping down as Chair of Impact100, making space for new voices and fresh perspectives to lead us into our next chapter.

We are delighted to welcome Katherine Schuitemaker and Yoko Kakuma as Co-Chairs of the Board. Together with our wider board team, including new members Kylie Broxton, Jane Guy, and Gladys Henderson as Kaitohutohu Ahurea (Cultural Advisor). Impact100 is in incredibly capable hands.

Clare leaves the role with the same spirit that has always defined Impact100: creating opportunities for women to step into leadership and drive meaningful change together.

We know our grant process is a little different from other local funders so if your organisation is thinking about applying we recommend you join us for our online Q and A session. Grant Committee Chair Tess Wethey will run through the timeline, assessment criteria, the process, what we fund and what we don't fund.
