Some photos from the evening for the Women's Refuge at Penny Black. The sold-out event was filled with tears, some anger, and a sense of empowerment in coming together to take a stand against family violence. A HUGE thank you to Sandra Noble from Penny Black and all the work she did working with the generous Cromwell community to gather auction items.

Today, on International Women's Day, nominations open for the Inspirational Women Awards. If you know an inspirational woman making a difference in New Zealand, nominate her now.
The finalists will be celebrated at the gala event on November 21st, whilst we raise funds for Women's Refuge New Zealand and Central Lakes Family Services.

Wow, look at all these gifts for Central Lakes Family Services to ensure any women and children spending the night in a safe house over Christmas don't miss out. A HUGE thank you to Medrecruit and their staff for donating so many and letting us host it in the office.

During the Christmas period, domestic violence incidents spike dramatically—no one should miss out on the joy of Christmas. We’ve partnered with Medrecruit and Central Lakes Family Services to organise a Christmas gift drive for women and children escaping domestic abuse during this period.
If you’d like to contribute, please drop off your gift at the Medrecruit office reception by 3pm this Friday, December 20th.
