Thank you to everyone who came along to the Pāpāmoa Community Market today 🤍

Every purchase means something to the person behind the stall. These are local people putting their time, care and hard work into their small businesses, and now more than ever, they need our support.

Thank you for choosing to shop with them, stopping for a chat and giving something new a try. It means so much to see you showing up for our market.

And to our stallholders, thank you for all the work that goes into each Sunday. I’m so grateful for this community we’ve built together.

Lots of new stalls and plenty of variety at the Pāpāmoa Community Market today! ❤️

Inside the hall you’ll find baking, flowers, arts and crafts, handmade goodies and so much more. Come have a wander, meet our stallholders and have a chat about what they’ve brought along.

Outside we have lots of delicious food trucks, fresh local produce and, of course, the $1 seedlings! You’ll also find fresh bread, local honey and sourdough starter for anyone keen to bake their own.

Grab a coffee, bring the family and come support our stallholders, rain or shine.

Come hungry and bring a little spring home 🌿

Tomorrow is our Taste of Spring Market, with in season local produce, free tastings and yummy food trucks serving up breakfast and lunch.

Getting your veggie garden going? Potted’s $1 seedlings are a lovely place to start. Have a chat, pick your favourites and enjoy growing something of your own.

Stock up on fresh produce, bread, baking and local goodies for the week. Pick up flowers to brighten your table and browse beautiful arts, crafts and handmade finds to refresh your home for spring.

Bring a friend, grab a coffee and stay a while. There’s room for the kids to play and plenty for you to discover.

Come along and support the people who grow, make and cook it all. We’ll be there, rain or shine 💚

The weather had other plans for us today, but our stallholders still turned up with their smiles, their beautiful products and plenty of time for a chat.

That’s what makes our little market feel special to me. The people behind the stalls genuinely want to be here, and I hope you feel that when you visit.

Thank you to everyone who came along today and supported them. We’re lucky to have this community ❤️

The teddy bears might be staying home today, but the market is very much on! 🧸

We had planned a Teddy Bear Picnic, but the weather isn’t playing ball. Our stallholders are here with plenty of reasons to pop in, have a wander and support local.

There are new stalls to discover, including a Korean fried chicken food truck. You’ll also find fresh produce, flowers, baking, bread, local honey and so much more.

Wolfgang is here with his German sausages too. Come and stock up because he won’t be back for the next month!

Pāpāmoa and friends , breakfast plans? Come hungry, it’s market day! 😍

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s waiting for you this morning. Our stallholders are in the hall, food trucks outside, with everyone as sheltered as possible.

And the food! The Little Paua, Balkan food truck, Rangi, and a NEW food truck serving Brazilian crepes on a stick! Jimmy’s here with the best Sichuan noodles and dumplings, and we couldn’t forget Devine Gelato with their amazing gelato, donuts and so much more!

We’ve also got barista coffee, beautiful European artisan bread and fresh loaves from Bakers Delight. Good luck choosing breakfast 😂

Stock up with Frenchs Farm and Liberty Growers, grab Nana Dunn’s pickled onions, and pop over to Potted for $1 seedlings. Deb’s has treats for your dogs too.

Bring the kids for face painting, temporary tattoos and painting with Nikki at her Paint with a Biologist station. Browse the amazing reads from Mrs Kiwi Books, beautiful arts, crafts and handmade goods, and gorgeous orchids.

A little shopping, a bite to eat and a few familiar faces. That’s Sunday at our place 💚

This week’s Grow Local Market celebrates the growers, bakers, makers and small businesses who bring our market to life.

Come along for fresh produce, baking, street food, handmade arts and crafts, and something to take home for the garden. Every purchase means something to the local person behind the stall.

Happy Monday everyone.

I wanted to thank a few local businesses, including some familiar market names, for their generosity over the weekend.

On Friday, I attended the Westpac Chopper Appeal Gala with colleagues from my day job. The gala’s purpose is to raise money for the Westpac rescue helicopter service. NANA DUNN & CO , Lady Alchemy NZ & Raglan Kettle Korn - Bay of Plenty were among the businesses that generously donated to the fundraiser, and it was lovely to see their names there.

With my husband being a beekeeper, I understand how important this service can be for people working in remote places, as well as others in our community who need urgent help.

On Saturday, I volunteered in the kitchen at the international taekwondo tournament organised by Team KO Mount Maunganui.

Thank you to French's Farm for the delicious fruit and Liberty Growers for the edible flowers. I used them to make fruit salad cups for the officials, and we also had cups available to buy. They looked beautiful, tasted amazing, and every cup we had for sale sold out!

Bakers Delight Mt Maunganui also saved the day. The hot dog buns the club had ordered arrived frozen, and we couldn’t use them. I called the owner, Navi, to ask if he could help. He got his baker back in, and they made fresh buns for us within an hour and a half!

The hot dogs sold like hot bread 😂 Those buns couldn’t have been fresher. Thank you, Navi and your baker, for coming to our rescue.

A little appreciation for the people behind these local businesses and the ways they support our community. Your generosity and help meant so much. ❤️

She was windy today! 😂 But you still came, even with the All Blacks playing. Thank you to everyone who popped down and supported our stallholders. We know there’s plenty competing for your Sunday, and we don’t take it for granted.

And our stallholders, thank you for sticking it out in the wind and looking after one another. It makes such a difference.

poTTed said they’d be back with seedlings today and didn’t want to let anyone down. And gosh, you showed up for them!

You asked for sausage rolls, Shane from Devine Gelato made them, and they sold out. Thank you for giving them a go!

We even had people coming for sorrel at Liberty Growers after reading the recipes in the new Nourish magazine. How cool is that? If you’ve taken some home, I’d love to hear what you make with it.

Feeling very blessed to be part of this community. Thank you, everyone. See you next Sunday ❤️
