What happens when you buy a baritone ukulele and constantly play and write songs on it?
You get really good at it like Lynelle Maree, who is also performing in the line up of Mountain Roots, it's shaping up to be a fantastic show!
Don't forget to grab your tickets early for our show "Mountain Roots 2" which is part of Fringe Taranaki Arts Festival on Sunday 8th November: https://www.fringetaranaki.co.nz/shows/mountain-roots-2%3A-different-voices%2C-same-horizon

Calling all potential podcasting hosts!

We're on the hunt for potential podcasters who would be keen to present and promote our local singer songwriters in a new radio show/podcast on ART FM.

Starting early in 2027, this would be a pre-recorded, hour-long show with four revolving hosts (so you'd be on only 1 week in 4). It could feature interviews with, and music by, our local singer songwriters presented in your own unique style, as well as promos for what's on in Taranaki. Sounds like fun!

Over the coming weeks we will be slowly revealing our 15 act strong line up for our show "Mountain Roots 2" as part of the Fringe Taranaki Taranaki Arts Festival.

This is Wayne Manson from Kaponga, often described as the funkiest man South of Taranaki. We love Wayne as a regular at lots of our events, always getting everyone to bop and sing along to his irresistible songs.

Date Sunday 8th November 8pm, tickets from here: https://www.fringetaranaki.co.nz/shows/mountain-roots-2%3A-different-voices%2C-same-horizon
