Pukekura Toastmasters hosted this years’ Annual North Taranaki Schools Year 7 & 8 Speech Contest🎙️ that was held last Friday, 14 November 2025, at the New Plymouth Central Baptist Church.

We would like to thank the eight students and their schools that have entered this year.

Our judges carefully evaluated each participant

🙌 CONGRATULATIONS to All:
🏆 1st Place - Elise Lewis of Oakura School with “Feed the Machine”
🥈 2nd Place - Venetia Ngeru of Sacred Heart Girls' College, New Plymouth with “Not all Superheroes Wear Capes”
