Unfurling creative opportunities and connecting community
The Koru Project Trust is a non-profit organisation with a vision to build whanaungatanga and vibrancy in our community.
To do this, we aim to produce an event platform for connecting our people, showcasing local artists/performers, encouraging creativity in our coming generations, and supporting groups/causes who are already playing a key role in supporting our community.
Our first event in 2019 proved a success with contributions from 46 artists that raised nearly $3000 for Conductive Education Taranaki Trust. We showcased some phenomenally talented performers of folk, rock, reggae, hip hop, and the little people buzzing with creative activities.
In 2020, we will be kicking it up a gear, so watch this space….
