Friends from Afar This group is for new New Zealanders who would like to practice their spoken English in a safe, supportive environment.

We meet at a retirement village in New Plymouth every Friday from 10.30 to 12noon. There is no cost, and tea and coffee is provided. This is a weekly conversation group for new New Zealanders. We meet each Friday at Jean Sandel Retirement Village in New Plymouth for conversation and friendship with the residents. If you'd like to practice your spoken English, are feeling a bit isolated, or are mis

sing the older family members you left behind, this friendly, inclusive group welcomes you. There is no cost, and pre-schoolers are welcome to come along. Come along on Fridays from 10.30am to 12noon, or contact us for more information.

Hey Friends, a little update on Christmas plans. Next week (12th) will be our last meeting for the year.
