25th September 2026, what a celebration this is going to be - 40th anniversary for the New Plymouth Stroke Support Trust. With "The Madeleines" from Auckland entertaining followed by a lovely meal at the Taranaki Stadium, with the Bulls practicing on the main field on the same day, whoopee 🥰

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the sudden passing of one of our valued stroke support members, Gael Johnsen. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her family. Rest in Peace 💐💐

Our volunteers and the trustees who are a volunteer in their role also, are the ones who go that extra mile for our New Plymouth Stroke Support Trust. So as a small recognition of thanks to them, today they enjoyed a scrumptious meal at the local Treehouse. Thank you to each and every single one of our volunteers.🥰

What a lovely day out last Friday for 55 stroke members and carers, enjoying their mid Christmas Lunch at the Cobb n Cobb. Thank you once again for the excellent service staff and we will see you next year.🥰

As we celebrate Volunteer Week, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our phenomenal team. Your passion and endless energy are the driving force behind our mission. Thank you for being the change we wish to see in the community so stroke survivors and their carers are not isolated and are out enjoying what our New Plymouth Stroke Support Trust have to offer.🥰
