Today we celebrate Te Reo i te Hapori – the place of te reo Māori within our communities.

Language is a powerful way to connect, build relationships and strengthen a sense of belonging. Every kupu we learn and every kōrero we share helps support the growth and visibility of te reo Māori in our everyday lives.

You don’t need to be fluent to take part. A simple “kia ora”, “mōrena” or learning a new kupu is a meaningful step towards celebrating and protecting this taonga for generations to come.

A day in the life of a Financial Mentor… through the eyes of Uni the unicorn. 🦄

Uni belongs to the daughter of our Financial Mentor Fran, and yesterday they tagged along for a busy day at Weave.

There were meetings to attend, kai parcels to pick up, whānau to support and, importantly, a coffee break or two along the way.

It was a good snapshot of just how varied a day in Financial Mentoring can be – and Uni proved to be a pretty good companion for the ride!

We're looking for a Social Services Operations Manager to join Weave Hawke's Bay.

This is a senior leadership role supporting the delivery and development of our social services, working alongside our team to ensure our services continue to respond effectively to the needs of whānau across Hawke's Bay.

You'll also be part of Weave's Executive Management Team, contributing to the wider direction and development of our organisation.
