🎉 Great Eastern Turnout for the Taupō Open! With 15 plus Eastern competitors making the trip — plus all the legends who came along to cheer — it honestly felt like an Eastern event away from home. What. A. Weekend. The rallies were long, the lungs were burning, and the bragging rights are officially claimed. Here’s who smashed their way to glory:
Women’s Open Champion — Holly Shuja
Absolute class on court. Precision, pace, and pure grit.
Men’s Division 1 Winner — Samuel Ferguson and Runner Up — Torin Donnelly. A final that had more twists than a corkscrew. These two, left everything out there.
Women’s Division 5 Runner Up — Blanche Drummond
Men’s Division 6 Runner Up — Sam Wallace
