ATTENTION!
New format — same sponsors, same great spot prizes!

With Eastern recently being awarded NIJAGs (originally scheduled to be held in Wellington), and with NIJAGs taking place only three weekends prior — also as an age‑group event at the same venue — we feel there is no need to run another similar age‑group tournament so close together.

Instead, we will be holding an Eastern Junior Tournament for all levels of our Eastern junior players, without separating into age groups. This event will still take place on the same weekend.

We also encourage players to enter NIJAGs, which will be another fantastic Eastern event. It already has over 90 players entered from all over New Zealand, including the South Island and as far north as Whangārei.

This tournament will continue to be part of the selection process for our Junior Eastern Team, and the team will still be announced at Prize Giving.
All funds raised will go towards supporting the travelling Eastern Junior Team for Nationals.

Huge shoutout to our two Eastern players (and parents) who attended the SNZ U15's camp at North Shore across the weekend — the feedback from both players and the accompanying adults was hugely positive. The weekend’s focus on length and width really landed. Even better, new friendships were solidified, old ones reinforced, and everyone’s feeling that good kind of tired after a massive couple of days.

The draw for the 2026 District Eliminations is now available!

🔥 District Eliminations Update 🔥

We know there’s a lot of anticipation around the draw for the District Eliminations, taking place at Waipukurau Lawn Tennis & Squash Club from 25–27 June. 👀

Team entries officially closed at 5pm today, and we’re pleased to confirm that we have received 30 team entries across the event – making this one of the strongest District Eliminations tournaments we’ve seen in recent years. 💪

The draw is now being finalised and will be published before the end of the weekend.

A huge thank you to all clubs and players for their support. We can’t wait to see the region’s best teams battle it out for a place at Superchamps! 🏆

Secondary Schools - Week 3

We had our top players from St John’s College and Sacred Heart College facing each other this week with St John’s winning 3/1

Both Napier Girls High School teams played each other with the Blue team taking away a 4/0 win.

Well done to everyone, especially the NGHS Junior team that continue to show up and are massively improving each week.
