Not to be for the boys this afternoon going down to Canterbury. What an amazing few days though and still managing to improve on their seeding regardless of this afternoons results!

Amazing stuff from both teams representing Eastern with pride!

A huge thank you to all who helped them get here, it definitely takes a village to pull this off!

Once again thank you to Chook, Dino, Jason and Sandy for your time and help over the weekend making sure they get to each game and cheering them on from the sidelines!

They take on Canterbury this afternoon playing off for 5th/6th improving on their pool seeding!!!

Round 2 was another tough one for both teams today going up against higher ranked teams.

They are back up again tomorrow though with the girls coming up against the #7 seeds Northland at 8am and the boys have the #6 seeds Wellington at 11am

The GJ Gardner Junior Nationals Teams event is underway!!!

Unfortunately both teams went down 4-0 in the first rounds but they will come back fighting!!!

It’s Finals Day at the NZ Nationals, and what an incredible achievement to have 21 Eastern players competing!

We’ve got a few of our Eastern juniors playing off in finals and playoff matches today, including:

Calling all Masters players!

This year we’ve been trying to gather interest for the NZ Masters in Whanganui.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get a team together in time, however entries are still open for the Individuals event, and we’d love to see some Eastern players take up the opportunity!

Squash Eastern has secured funding towards entry fees, travel and accommodation, and the Board has agreed to support players wanting to compete in the Individuals event.

🏆 Individuals: Friday 17 – Sunday 19 October
🚗 Travel: You would need to be available to travel to Whanganui on Thursday 16 October.

We require a minimum of 10 players for this to go ahead.
