The other woman, age 41, had bail opposed and was charged with possession for supply of methamphetamine and possession of L*D and Ecstacy. She will appear in Hamilton District Court tomorrow morning.

The man, aged 41, appeared in Hamilton District Court today charged with aggravated robbery, taking a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of ammunition. He was remanded in custody to reappear on 31 October.

The investigation is ongoing and Police have not ruled out further arrests.

We support our police. We remember and honour the police that dead doing there job. Remembrance Day

Today, police around the country will mark Police Remembrance Day in services across the motu. The service honours the New Zealand, Australian and South Pacific police officers who were slain on duty, and New Zealand Police employees who died as result of their police duties. It also remembers New Zealand Police staff – serving and retired, sworn and non-sworn – who have died in the past year.

Police staff and members of the police family throughout New Zealand take part in Police Remembrance Day by wearing the police chevron-embedded huia feather to honour the memory of those police officers slain while carrying out their police duties. Money collected in exchange for the pin goes to the Police Families Charitable Trust for the families of New Zealand Police who have been slain while carrying out their police duties.

You can watch a live stream of the National Police Remembrance Day service at the Royal New Zealand Police College in Porirua from 11am on the New Zealand Police Museum and New Zealand Police page.

Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou. We will remember them. 💙
