Manu Berry Printmaking Workshop: Dunedin printmaker Manu Berry is leading a series of workshops in June for Artsenta artists. The prints will be inspired by poetry gifted by Artsenta’s creative writing group and will be part of a super special project celebrating Artsenta’s upcoming 40th birthday.

The workshops will take place on Mondays and Thursdays 10am-12pm starting this Monday the 8th of June. Sign up at Artsenta or flick us a message to get involved.

CERAMICS: There are many pieces on the bisque shelf waiting to be glazed. If you have a creation on the shelf we welcome you to pop in and finish it off so it’s ready for its last kiln firing 😁

Just a reminder we have 2 awesome workshops happening today and tomorrow with Ana Teofilo from10am-12pm for Artsenta artists to attend.
We will be learning how to carve with Ana and connecting with Polynesian motifs. No experience is needed for this workshop as we will all be learning together.

Check out the wonderful weaving workshop run by Artsenta artist Maree this week, our first artist led workshop for the year. Maree did a great job sharing her skills and supporting fellow artists to create their very first weaving projects. Much fun was had turning strips of fabric into beautiful rugs.

Our many manu are gradually finding their new homes in places of wellbeing named by our artists. Today one of our herons flew the coup and landed at John Wilson Drive by the beach.
