You can support the mahi that we do by donating us the items that you see us offering on here (We love to reuse). All of our services are free, all of the time. We try to provide a helping hand when it's needed, but we also like to care for Papatūānuku by helping everyone to reuse baby items. The only part of our services that have a criteria for them are the pēpi-pods and wahakura that we provide
as part of the Te Whatu Ora Southern Sleep Space Programme. Please ask us for more information about this. When we are providing our services, we ask people if we can note down their name, age, and ethnicity details. This information is stored securely, and is used for general statistical information - the number of people that we provide services to, and the percentages of people belonging to each ethnic group and age group. Our opening hours are 9.30-4 Monday, Tuesdays, Thursday, and Fridays; and 12-5 on Wednesdays. We have a lower sensory time at our drop-in centre from 9.30-10.30 on Thursdays. The person that you will usually interact with on our page is Chris (she/her). Please note the following in relation to any items that we give away or pass onto whānau on here: None of our giveaways are associated with Facebook. We never ask people to go to third party sites to register for giveaways and we never ever ask people for debit or credit card details. All giveaways need to be collected from us at our premises in South Dunedin during our opening hours. Health and safety information:
People must not come in to see us to either be provided with our services or to donate items if they or anyone with them are unwell with anything that is potentially contagious to anyone else e.g. coughs, colds, sore throats, or stomach bugs. Ngā mihi.
