AGT are proud to support the Kaikōura Dark Sky Trust and their work leading community education and practical support to help reduce light pollution in Kaikōura.

Working alongside residents, businesses, schools and organisations, the Trust is helping improve outdoor lighting practices to protect the area’s International Dark Sky Sanctuary status and support its journey toward Dark Sky Community accreditation.

This initiative will help strengthen Kaikōura’s reputation as a destination for astro-tourism, supporting both the local community and economy while preserving its incredible night skies for future generations.

AGT are proud to support the NZ Choral Federation and The Big Sing, New Zealand’s leading secondary school choir festival 🎤

Taking place from 27–29 August at Christchurch Town Hall, this incredible event brings together 9,000 students aged 12–18 from across Aotearoa, celebrating the talent of young performers nationwide.

The Christchurch finale will feature 24 outstanding school choirs following regional and Cadenza festivals, culminating in a spectacular gala concert across three unforgettable days.

With more than 7,000 original songs recorded and over 1,700 studio sessions delivered, the trust provides a unique opportunity for students to experience professional recording and national recognition.

AGT is proud to support this wonderful organisation with funding towards the salary of an Operations Coordinator, a vital role responsible for delivering four national competitions and coordinating with schools, judges, recording studios, and partners.
