What a night! Our Bark and Bid silent auction brought in $3,184.20 and seeing this community show up like that has us a bit teary. That brings our fundraising total to $7,090.45 🙏🌲🐕
Council has agreed to match what we raise, dollar for dollar. So every donation is quietly doing double duty. That combined funding goes straight into keeping the Sandflat Road pines safe, the tree safety work that lets this space stay open.
Anything raised beyond what’s needed for the safety works goes into our long term plan: securing green, shaded, accessible space for Cromwell’s dogs that won’t be sitting under threat again in a few years’ time.
