So far the first two days of the holidays have been beautiful!!! As the weather gets warmer, just a reminder to all parents and rangatahi that we need to be sun smart. Bring a water bottle, bring a hat, and wear sunscreen. Fingers crossed for more sunshine! Thanks so much to Cole and Mason from Otago Fish and Game Council for your help and expertise yesterday.

Some of our fabulous rangatahi created a little skit to teach us a valuable lesson, and finish off our Te Wiki O Te Reo Māori videos. Ka Pai Caleb and Miah, this was a lot of fun, also a big Ngā mihi to Tristan and Koby on camera and guest appearance by La!!! Have a great weekend everyone.

We are heading further North today. Hopefully by today you are all really getting the hang of the ‘au’ sound and the effect the macron has on the vowels. Well done La, we are so pleased you made the move to Te Waipounamu/South Island.

Today we are focusing on that ‘au’ sound. This is so often mispronounced as “Ow” when should be “Oh”. Danny helps us out today, luckily he filmed this morning when the weather wasn’t so marangai/stormy. Ka pai Danny.
