We are incredibly proud of our venturer Molly (on the right) who represented the Cromwell Lions Club at the recent Alexandra Blossom Festival. Molly has been in scouting since she was 5yrs old and as well as being an active venturer (and princess) she also represents us on the Scouts Aotearoa National Council. She is also just finishing off her King's Scout Award. BRAVO Molly!

Introducing our 2026 Alexandra Blossom Festival Queen Heidi Winter!

2nd runner Up is Deandie de B**r (left) and 1st runner up Molly Mexted.

Congratulations ladies!

We also learned a little braille tonight. Thanks to a friend Carolyn who made these cards with each scout’s name on them. They were all very quick to work out the “code”. Not so easy to do it without sight though. There’s a lady, Julie Woods or That Blind Woman who is on a mission to do 1 million names in braille to raise awareness. I’m proud that our scouts are sharing that awareness.
