Free Speed-panning instruction! With the 49th World Goldpanning Champs coming to the Cromwell racecourse end of September this year - now is the time to learn and/or practice how to participate in the sport of Goldpanning!

It is with great sadness that the Otago Goldfields Heritage Trust acknowledges the passing of Gerald Goodger, Cavalcader, OGHT Life Member and devoted history buff. Gerald's love of the Otago goldfields, his wealth of knowledge, and his support of the Cavalcade over many years have left a lasting legacy. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Gerald.
