More than a mural – this is a moment.

A chance for you to gift a school community something lasting, inspiring and entirely their own, co-created with one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most exciting contemporary artists, 2022 Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi Springboard recipient Chevron Hassett.

Chevron will work with students (and teachers) anywhere in Tāmaki Makaurau to create a powerful piece of contemporary art at your kura of choice. This is a hands–on, immersive experience designed to spark creativity, build confidence and leave a lasting mark on your school community.

Generously supported by Aalto | Premium, NZ Made Paint, the winning bidder will also receive a $1,000 Aalto paint voucher to transform their own space.

This is your chance to create something truly iconic for a school community while supporting the next generation of creative thinkers.

Lot 12: Donate a Mural Thanks to Springboarder Chevron Hassett and Aalto Paint.

In March this year, we hit the road again for All in for Arts: He waka toi e eke noa nei tātou.

We travelled to six cities across Aotearoa, bringing together artists, changemakers, community leaders and advocates for the arts and creativity.

Along the way, we heard from 27 speakers who shared powerful kōrero about the role of art, culture, creativity and ngā toi Māori in shaping thriving communities and imagining new possibilities for the future.

From city to city, one thing was clear: creativity is not a nice-to-have. It’s a catalyst for connection, wellbeing, innovation and change.

Ngā mihi nui to our partners who made this kaupapa possible: Creative New Zealand, The Chartwell Project, and our media partner Stuff.

Here’s what we heard.https://d2935izqpq0pg2.cloudfront.net/2026-AIFA-What-We-Heard-Scroller-%E2%80%93-General-Public-FINAL.pdf
