At Kilmarnock, wellbeing is about empowering our people.
We wrapped up 2025 by celebrating employees who earned Health & Wellbeing certificates and prizes for taking part in activities throughout the year. Planned by our dedicated HR team and delivered during working hours, our Flourish programme keeps employees active, engaged, and growing.
Thanks to our wellbeing partners and sponsors, employees are encouraged to try new things, build confidence, and support one another. Whether that’s rolling out a yoga mat, joining a boxfit class, committing to healthier eating habits, learning new skills, or connecting with the wider community. These experiences create real opportunities for growth, choice, and self-determination.
A huge thank you to our 2025 wellbeing partners, each making a unique impact:
•Johnny Squire - Inspiring mindfulness through biweekly yoga sessions
• Ian Gilmour – Building strength with weekly Boxfit classes
• Like-Minded Learning – Sponsoring weekly fresh fruit from Wonky Box
• Sarah Wood – Supporting workplace wellbeing with EAP Services
• Betty Situe from Christchurch City Libraries Library Van – Bringing books to our doorstep
• Paul Odlin from Odlin Cycle Coaching – Cycling skills for safer commutes
• Sudima Hotels– Warming us with winter soup
• Peter Timbs Meats – Sponsoring monthly sausage sizzles that bring the team together
• Debra Leutenegger - Health awareness talks from Breast Cancer Foundation NZ
• Constable Jo Ryder (NZ Police Relations) – Community awareness talks
• Paul Aulds (Community Energy Action) – Tips to stay healthy in winter
• Juliet Gray (Canterbury DHB Health NZ – Waitaha Canterbury) – Oral hygiene guidance
• Reliance Medical NZ – Personal first aid kits gifted to all employees
Looking ahead to 2026, we’d love to welcome new partners to host or sponsor wellbeing activities and be part of something that truly makes a difference.
