💛 SUNDAYS ARE BUSY IN BLENHEIM!💛

When we started Sunday trading, we weren’t quite sure what to expect… but WOW! 😍

Our Sundays have been busier than we ever imagined, and we absolutely love seeing so many people through our doors!
But there’s a little problem… we need more volunteers to keep up with the demand! 💛

Our Blenheim store is open every Sunday from 10am–3pm, and we’d love some more wonderful people to join our volunteer team and help us keep Sunday trading thriving.
Could you spare a few hours on a Sunday? Or perhaps you know someone who would love to get involved?

✨ No experience necessary
✨ Meet great people
✨ Help your local community
✨ Be part of something good
✨ And yes… you might find a treasure or two while you’re here! 😉

If you’ve ever thought, I’d love to volunteer, but I’m not sure where to start” — this could be your sign. 💛

Shocktober is back! 💛

Knowing what to do in an emergency can mean the difference between life and loss. A patient’s chance of survival more than doubles when bystanders perform CPR and defibrillation before emergency services arrive—every minute matters.

Backed by major sponsor MAS, over the next four weeks we aim to help 15,000 people across the motu learn these life-saving skills through 3 Steps for Life (Ngā Tohu Whakaora e Toru), our free, one-hour awareness programme.

The 3 Steps for Life are:
📞 Calling 111
❤️ Starting CPR
⚡ Using an AED

We are also engaging 6,500 tamariki through our 'Save Your Teddy' campaign, helping children learn about emergencies in a safe, age-appropriate way 🧸

✨ Did someone say “Dior”? ✨

Check out these GORGEOUS Daniel Arsham x Dior B23 High Top “Dior Oblique – Light Blue” sneakers in a size 37! 💙

This is a very rare sort of donation for us here in our Blenheim Store, and we are incredibly grateful to our wonderful donor for trusting us with such a special find.

A seriously stylish piece of designer footwear that you definitely don’t see every day in an op shop!

💛 A huge thank you to everyone who popped in to say "hi" last Sunday! You absolutely made our day.

It's so wonderful to be part of such a supportive community. Every visit, every purchase, every donation and every kind word helps Hato Hone St John continue making a difference right here in our community.

This week, our team has been busy restocking the store!

🧸 Our children's section is bursting with toys, games and puzzles to keep little hands busy (and happy!) on these chilly winter days.

✨ And our bric-a-brac shelves have been freshly filled with beautiful trinkets, treasures and unique finds just waiting to be discovered.
