The Oranga Community Centre exists to provide a place for the local community of Oranga to connect, to belong and to enjoy. Operated by Auckland Council our Center is staffed Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm and available for venue hire during this time and after hours. With an exciting array of programmes on offer, every week, we're thrilled to provide something for everyone! Come visit us for a

cuppa, our friendly staff would love to meet you! To provide you with Oranga Community Centre's latest news and events information.
2. To engage with the Oranga Community on various topics relating to Oranga and the greater Auckland.

Only 2 sleeps to go until our blessing! We’re so excited to celebrate this special occasion with our community. It means so much to have everyone come together for what will be a truly memorable day. We can’t wait to see you there!

✨✨E rere ana ngā mihi - Many thanks to all that took part in Te Iwa o Matariki - Onehunga Oranga Celebration last Thursday night.✨✨

Many thanks to our friends from Oranga Groove Family, Your Place - Tō Wāhi, Synergy Projects, Tāmaki WRAP - Waste Reduction Action Project for working with us to bring this evening to life for the second year in a row. This event was made possible through the generous support of Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and Oranga Development.

Shoutout to our MC Seymore, Oranga Groove Family, Oranga Primary Te Papapa School, Xavier aka XPLSV, Mama Char and Sarah for showcasing your talents and keeping us entertained throughout the evening!

It was also pleasure to exhibit creative, Matariki inspired art from various community groups and organisations including Raise Up NZ, Onehugna Community Centre's Raranga Group, Te Papapa Preschool and Lalaga.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone that came to celebrate with us and show your support!
