Come on down to the Blockhouse Bay Community Centre on Wednesday 24 June between 1pm – 5pm to meet with Community Waitakere and grab some free native plants, free tools and resources, and learn how to ID and tackle weeds at your place!

Free Senior Safety & Empowerment Workshop - this Saturday at Armanasco House in Blockhouse Bay!

In honor of Elder Abuse Awareness Month, Elderhood is bringing a free community programme to the Bay where they will give our seniors, caregivers and whānau the tools to "Move with Confidence." It will cover gentle self-defence, personal safety, building strength through connection and more.

It’s completely free to attend but registration is required.

Please spread the word to any local seniors or families who might benefit!

It’s been two weeks and we’re still buzzing about Cultures of the Whau ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came along and celebrated with us. The performances, community spirit, cultural pride and tautoko throughout the day made it so special for all involved.
