As the official charity for North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals, Well Foundation plays an important role in supporting public healthcare across the North Shore, West Auckland and Rodney communities. Through the generosity of individuals and organisations, they help fund projects that enhance patient care, support staff wellbeing, and enable innovation across the hospitals.

Their work helps create spaces of comfort and dignity, supports advancements in care, and strengthens the hospitals that care for so many families through life’s important moments.

Footprint is proud to welcome Well Foundation to the family, and we look forward to working alongside them to grow and strengthen their Gifts in Wills programme for the future, helping this important impact continue for generations to come 🙌

🎉 One year of the Well Foundation Shop at Waitākere Hospital! 🎉

What started as a small idea has become a much-loved part of the hospital, and we’re so proud to see it now firmly part of the front of house at Waitākere.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, who bring warmth, care, and a friendly face to everyone who walks through the doors 💙

The shop is filled with locally made West Auckland products, along with thoughtful, unique gifts - whether you’re visiting a loved one, spending time in hospital, or a staff member needing a last-minute birthday save between shifts 🎁

It’s a space that continues to grow, and we’re excited to keep expanding what we offer to our community.

And a special shout out to Tammy, whose retail expertise and energy have taken the shop to new heights, we couldn’t do it without you 💚

Thank you to everyone who has supported the shop over the past year. Here’s to many more to come!

A huge thank you to North Shore Rotary for their ongoing support through the Drive 4 Life Charity Golf Day ⛳

Last November marked the 24th year this incredible event has been held in support of Well Foundation, raising an amazing $14,883 to help fund an Ultrasound Mentor training machine for our hospitals.

This technology will allow more clinical staff to be trained in ultrasound, helping improve access to ultrasound scans for pregnant people across the Waitematā region.

North Shore Rotary have been long-standing partners of Well Foundation and their continued commitment makes a real difference to patient care in our community.
