We are pleased to announce the return of our Matariki Wānanga NEXT WEEK! 🌟

This FREE opportunity will offer secondary students an opportunity to deepen their connection to music and Matariki through a songwriting and music arrangement wānanga led by music legends, Aro, Edyonthebeat and Nicola Mitchell, supported by a live house band! 🎵

🌐 Aotearoa boutique music conference and showcase festival Going Global is BACK 27-28 August! Showcasing applications are now OPEN closing 10 July 5PM. Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ).

🌱 umusic NZ have launched 𝗇𝖾𝗑𝗍𝖶𝖠𝖵.: a first-of-its-kind 12-month artist development programme designed to support emerging young artists (ages 16-18) across Aotearoa. Applications are now OPEN closing 19 July 11:59PM.

🦘 Australia’s leading BIGSOUND artist showcase and industry conference returns to Brisbane 1-4 September! Outward Sound BIGSOUND 2026 Delegate Grant applications are now OPEN closing 26 June 5PM.

Today's the DAY! 🥳

I tēnei rā, the The Great Escape Festival kicks off their 20th anniversary celebrations, welcoming international industry delegates and music's best new acts from across the globe. As Lead Country for this year's Festival extravaganza, we're hosting an exclusive industry panel, high-level networking events to promote NZ music worldwide, and a dedicated takeover of the iconic Brighton venue Patterns TOMORROW (14 May) for an all Aotearoa showcase!

Here's our smorgasbord of Aotearoa talent for you to enjoy at this Festival and beyond. We've also thrown in a some additional tour details from a few of our artists making the most of their time in the UK.
