A Supported Life provides holistic support to 60 adults who have an intellectual disability living in the West Auckland community. Our team is dedicated to the support and development of those they have chosen to walk alongside. At any one time there are over 50 full time, part time, and casual staff fulfilling a wide range of direct support, administrative tasks, and leadership responsibilities.

Our connection with Hospice West Auckland is reciprocal and very important to us 💕

This group of talented artists from A Supported Life (ASL) have been making beautiful blessing bowls for our Poroporoaki process at our He Whare Korowai - Home From Home.

Yesterday, they gifted this handmade bowl to Hospice West Auckland. It currently sits in the Douglas Lounge, where it can be used to help people connect with nature by filling the bowl with natural elements, or simply held to offer comfort and calm their wairua.

Thank you, ASL, for this beautiful and thoughtful gift. 💛
