What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Devotion For Today 8/01/24
"Lost, Now Found"
There was a point where every person on the earth had chosen to live their life on their own accord. No one cared to listen to what God had to say. The same way sheep tend to wander off, mindlessly, was the same way that everybody had decided to wander off and do their own thing.

We see the same thing in the current world that we are living in. Many people have chosen to follow their own advice over the wisdom and guidance of God. Some people have turned to worldly wisdom for guidance.

Think of how you would feel if someone decided to ignore everything you had to say, and they chose to follow their own way instead. You would be pretty upset, wouldn't you? There is a high chance that you wouldn't want to help anyone ever again because of the pain that they caused you.

But man's actions didn't faze God – and they sure as anything did not phase Jesus. Jesus Christ took all of the sin, infirmities, and imperfections of man upon himself. He stood in the place of every human being and he chose to take the fall for us so that we wouldn't have to suffer the consequences of our fallen nature. Jesus didn't wait for our approval before he decided to do what he did. He left his heavenly home, became a human being – like you and me – and lived the way we did. He ate the food we would eat. He walked on the same ground. He drank the same kind of water. The only difference between him and the rest of humankind was that he chose to express God's nature of love wherever He went. Even when he was being beaten and mocked by his own people, Jesus did not change his mind about dying for us.

You won't find a love like that anywhere else. We can only find such a deep, unashamed love in Christ and this is why we need him. Scripture reminds us of our fallen ways and how Jesus Christ came to take care of the sin that we could not take care of ourselves. Our lives are nothing without Christ. This is why we need to cling on to Him. We won't find a love like this anywhere else.

Prayer
Thanks and praise be to You Lord, for offering Your salvation to the world, so that all may enter Your Heavenly Kingdom and exalt Your name in honour and glory. Thanks you Lord, for whom I rejoice at the gates of Your Heavenly Kingdom, rejoicing with Your Disciples in singing David's psalms. At the feet of Your throne, I give my thanks for Your mercy everlasting. Blessed be thy name, the power and the glory. Amen.

1 Peter 2:11 In-Context
11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul

Peter tells us that even angels—apparently non-fallen angels speaking for God—would never speak so disrespectfully of fallen angels. Even when pronouncing God's judgment, they would not "heap abuse" on these rebellious angels. Peter says that, clearly, the angels are far more powerful than these false teachers.

Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Since God created all things, he allows evil to exist. Evil is really the absence of good. Therefore, there's a sense in which evil once existed in Heaven when Lucifer and his angels rebelled, but God cast them out.

😇🙏👍💪🙌 God bless and stay strong amen 🙌💪😉

Psalms 133:1 (KJV) Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

God made us for community, and for unity. In a world marked by selfish ambition, power struggles, and conflict, the unity of Christians is a refreshing and joyous contrast. In order to build, we must each rely on God’s grace to work out the selfishness and pride of our hearts, so that He can fill us with His Spirit which binds us in Him.

God, help me to set aside my agenda, my pride, and my desire for power and prestige. I confess that holding on to these things has damaged my relationships and hurt those around me. Grant me the grace to forgive others who have wronged me, and the humility to seek forgiveness where I have caused strife. Grow the bonds of love that You have given us, so that our unity may testify to Your power and goodness. In Jesus’ name, amen.❤️🤗🔜💓😇💖🙌✌️😄🙂😃💟🕊️🫴😌😀😎💪😉👍🌞💗😁🙏💕😊

‼️‼️WARNING ‼️‼️

People are so blinded by the devil in these last days.
Only those that are spiritually awaken with the Holy Spirit knows what's going on in the world and whats coming to the world. The devil is not hiding anymore. You can see his works manifest in people everywhere in the world.
The chaos, the violence, the love of money, sexual immorality, the betrayal within families and friends, people are boasting, people initiated in the occults the new age practicing of witchcraft and sacrificing of people, there's no love in people, the wars, climate changes, the famines, pestilences, the rise of technology and artificial intelligence, false teachers, pastors and prophets and the lost goes on...
It's getting worse and worse. Wake up people. Those of some of many signs that we are living in the last days.
All those was happening in the days of Noah and S***m and Gomorrah.

Judgement is coming to the world. The lawlessness and the wickedness is getting worse. Satan is turning this world and people against God.

Repent and Seek Jesus Christ. Turn away from the world and find your soul salvation in Jesus Christ. The time is near. Don't be part of the world and Satan's plans. Be set apart and walk in truth and righteousness.

God Bless you

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12

God wants to protect you from all the vicious ways that the devil will try to sneak in and steal your joy. The devil has a large amount of evil tricks and tools that he will use in an attempt to take your focus off God. He will try to make you vulnerable in order to fall into his foolish schemes. The devil is very ruthless and fierce, he will continue to attack you several times a day and will refuse to back off until you call out to God for help. God tells us in James 4:7: "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Some of the main tools the devil will use to get you to turn from God are: lust, jealousy, anxiety, stress, worry, greed, and anger. You must remain completely focused on God in order to overcome these attacks from the devil. You won't be able to defeat the devil on your own power, your own plan or with your own persistence. You need to be persistent in God's power, strength, guidance, and in His written word. Once you are able to focus your mind completely on God and allow him to control your thoughts and your actions you will be able to deflect every single attack from the devil with ease.

LET'S PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, I am in need of Your help. I need You right now. Lord, I come to you today in prayer asking You to save me from the deception of the devil, protect me from the wrath of the enemy, and keep me safe from violent people. Lord, I do not want to be controlled by the devil. I want to guided by You and I want to follow your plan for my life. Lord, thank You for sending Jesus to reconcile us. May the devil never steal Your gift of salvation and eternal life away from me. Bless me with strength to resist the devil that He may flee from me, and may I live above sin. Lord, I know that the devil will continually try to keep me from my blessings. I know that the devil will constantly try to erect tents of doubts within me that I may have doubts when I pray. Lord, I ask that You send forth Your Spirit to fill me completely and leave no space for any foul spirit of the devil. Lord, may I never forget that the devil is always trying to plant ungratefulness in the hearts of your children to prevent them from giving thanks to You for the things You have blessed them with. May I resist the foul spirit of ungratefulness by constant prayers. Lord, I know that prayer is powerful and necessary to fight against the wiles and wrath of the devil. Lord, may I never forget that the devil is constantly roaming the earth seeking to disrupt the lives of Your children. Lord, may my prayers keep me safe from the snare of the devil, keep me dwelling in Your land of provision, and heal me completely in mind, body, and soul. In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ we pray, Amen
