The SPACE programme is aimed mainly at first time parents with newborn babies, and has been designed to support parents through the first year of their child's developmental journey. The programme runs weekly for 3 terms in a relaxed, baby friendly atmosphere. Sessions include music, books, a discussion topic - sometimes with a guest speaker, social time and often a craft activity. Our qualified f
acilitators along with other professionals share their collective knowledge and experience with the group. Furthermore, we encourage parents to use the SPACE programme as a forum to share their own parenting experiences. Sessions are well resourced and are held at a local Playcentre or suitable community venue. Our current venues are: Bucklands Beach, Coatesville, Cockle Bay, Drury, Eden Epsom, Ellerslie, Freemans Bay, Glen Eden, Glendene, Greenhithe, Helensville, Henderson Valley, Herne Bay, Hillsborough, Howick, Karaka, Kumeu, Lynfield, Mairangi Bay, Mangere Bridge, Massey, Maungawhau, Morningside, Mt Albert, Mt Wellington, Narrowneck, Onehunga, Onepoto, Pakuranga, Silverdale, Te Puawai (Remuera), Torbay, Totaravale, Waiatarua, Waimauku, West Harbour & Windy Ridge
