🌏 UHEPP Community Action Fund is now open! 🎉

Do you have an idea that could strengthen connection, inclusion or wellbeing within Upper Harbour’s ethnic communities? 🤝
The Upper Harbour Ethnic Peoples Plan Community Action Fund offers grants of $500–$5,000 to support grassroots, community-led projects across the Upper Harbour Local Board area. 💡🌱

Individuals, community groups and networks are all welcome to apply, with emerging groups and first-time funding applicants particularly encouraged to get involved. 🙌

Could your idea be the next community project to make a difference? 💛

☕️NEW DAY & TIME for our Greenhithe Plunket Coffee Group! 🎉

We’re back after the school holidays — and we’re moving to MONDAY'S from 11.45am - 1.45pm, starting Monday 12 October! 💛
We’re excited to welcome Tammy as our new facilitator. 🎶 She’ll be bringing a little music into the sessions, along with plenty of time for the littlies to play and for mums to connect, chat and enjoy a cuppa. ☕️🧸

Eco Youth are back at Wainoni Park, we’re rescuing native seedlings in a backyard nursery workshop, Gardens 4 Health are joining us to plant drought‑tolerant edibles, Louis is hosting a Walk a Trapline at Taihinui, and we’re running a Nightwalk at Lady Phoenix Reserve. Plus -Youth Photography Competition (entries close 16 Oct!), and a Tool Shed Open Day for all your supplies. Spring energy is here - lots happening, come be part of the Greenhithe Community Trust Ecology Group! 💚

Get a bunch of neighbours together to look after the drains in your street through this awesome Neighbourhood Support New Zealand initiative. We would love to see Adopt a Drain get underway in Greenhithe to keep drains clear, water flowing during downpours and to help protect waterways. Bringing together neighbours with a shared purpose is a great way to connect. ☺️

Adopt A Drain!
Get together with your neighbours and ‘Adopt a Drain’. This Neighbourhood Support NZ initiative encourages neighbours to join forces to keep their street's drains clear of leaves and debris, helping water flow freely and reducing the risk of localised flooding. It's a simple and effective action that benefits everyone.

🌕✨ A morning of laughter, food and community connection! ✨🌕
This morning at No. 12 we celebrated the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival during our International Friends gathering — and what a lovely morning it was! 🥰

Around 25 of us came together, chatting, laughing and enjoying a wonderful shared morning tea, with everyone contributing something delicious. 🥮🍊☕️ Thank you to everyone who came and helped make the morning so special.

International Friends is now taking a two-week break for the school holidays. We’ll see you back at No. 12 on Tuesday 13 October!
