The SRH Specialist provides technical and programmatic leadership for the adolescent prevention project to ensure that capacity building, advocacy and policy dialogue work reflect UNFPA’s policy and programme as well as current thinking and academic advancements in substantive areas affecting the ICPD Programme of Action. S/he maintains primary responsibility for the coordination of the provision of technical assistance and programmatic support under the guidance of the SRH technical advisor.

Hurricane season is here — and so are we. 🧡

When Hurricane Melissa struck, UNFPA delivered — Hygiene Kits, IAHR Kits, SRH Kits to the Ministry of Health & Wellness, Jamaica, and Dignity Kits to the Bureau of Gender Affairs Jamaica. Helping restore critical services at Black River, Cornwall Regional, Savanna-La-Mar, and Mandeville Regional Hospitals — because reproductive health needs don't stop when a disaster does.

As a new season begins, we're already pre-positioned and ready. Dignity kits are on the ground across the region — serving as entry points to services, psychosocial support, and life-saving SRH care, delivered in partnership with CSOs and government partners.

No crisis will leave women and girls behind. Not on our watch.
