📢 We’re hiring!

The MultiCare Youth Foundation (The MYF) is seeking a highly organised and resourceful Project Assistant to support the effective delivery of projects that create meaningful opportunities for Jamaica’s youth.

The successful candidate will assist with:

🔹 Project administration, planning and implementation
🔹 Participant recruitment, screening and follow-up
🔹 Data entry, filing and record-keeping
🔹 Workshop and event coordination
🔹 Communication with participants, partners and other stakeholders

Applicants should have at least one CAPE unit and three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English. Experience in administration or project delivery would be an asset. A valid driver’s licence and two years minimum driving experience would be a distinct asset.

A powerful start to transformation.

The Scotiabank Teach to Transform Project was launched at the Haile Selassie High School in March, 2026. 40 students and 6 teachers from the school will benefit directly from the one-year project which offers a much-needed mix of remedial and supportive interventions for the students, plus enhanced methodologies for teachers.

The project is being piloted as part of the Foundations for Change initiative, a collaboration between The MYF and The Creative Language-Based Learning (CLBL) Foundation.

Here are highlights from the official launch of the *MYF YUTE WORK II Project* held at the PriceSmart Portmore Store on May 14, 2026.

Funded by the PriceSmart Foundation, this 17-month initiative is focused on increasing *youth resilience, employability, and positive life outcomes* for vulnerable young people across Kingston, St. Andrew, and St. Catherine.

Through this programme, 60 youth ages 16–29 will benefit from:

✔️ Life & Employability Skills Training
✔️ Mentorship & Personal Development Support
✔️ Vocational Skills Training & Certification
✔️ Internship Placement & Work Exposure
✔️ Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

This is more than training — it’s about restoring hope, building confidence, and creating real pathways to success.
