On August 20 and 22, our community outreach program visited St. Elizabeth and Cambridge, St. James, where we distributed:
🎒 1,000 backpacks
✏️ School supplies
👞 Shoes
🍪 Snacks
to children preparing for the new school year.
The crowds certainly kept us busy! 😄
But seeing the excitement of the children made every minute worthwhile.
Community means reaching beyond our own walls and lending a hand wherever we can.

The Chinese Benevolent Association presents a fundraiser dinner for the Year of the Fire Horse 🐎

🍜 **On the plate:** Special Suey Mein with shrimp, roast chicken, roast pork and egg roll, served with our chicken broth or pork broth.

While delivering Hurricane Melissa relief in Whithorn, we stopped at Shrewsbury Logwood ECI and witnessed firsthand the severe damage left behind. High winds and torrential rain had torn away the school's roof and ceiling, leaving the building exposed and the surrounding trees stripped completely bare.
We knew right away where help was needed most. We have allocated a portion of our relief donations directly to replacing the roof and ceiling, ensuring these young students have a safe classroom to return to for back-to-school. After losing so much, our children deserve stability and hope.
One Love, One Jamaica. We stand together, strong and resilient.
