A Call to Stand Together in Remembrance & Thanksgiving Service for of Kamal Reynolds
Dear Munronians, Family and Friends of Munro College:
It is with profound sadness that we reach out to you following the tragic passing of our young Munronian, Kamal Reynolds, who lost his life in a drowning incident on 15 July 2026. His untimely passing has brought immeasurable grief to his family, friends, classmates, teammates and the wider Munro College community.
As we continue to mourn this heartbreaking loss, we invite the entire Munro family—old boys, students, parents, staff, relatives and friends—to join us for a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Kamal Reynolds, on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. The service will give us an opportunity to remember Kamal, give thanks for the life he shared with us, and surround his loved ones with compassion, prayer and strength.
At this especially painful time, we humbly ask for your support. Your presence at the service, your prayers, your words of comfort and any practical assistance you are able to offer will mean a great deal to Kamal’s family and to all who are grieving. No expression of kindness is too small; every call, message, visit and helping hand can bring comfort in the days ahead.
Munro has always been more than a school—it is a family. Let us now live out that bond by standing together in love, dignity and solidarity, honouring Kamal’s memory and supporting those most deeply affected by his passing.
May Kamal’s soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength in the love and support that surround them.
