Join BirdLife Jamaica for a guided coastal bird walk + basic cactus & plant ID at Hellshire!

📅 Sat, Jan 17 | ⏰ Early morning (5:15–9:00 AM)
💰 $700 members | $1,000 non-members

We’ll be looking out for coastal species like the Bahama Mockingbird, which has a very restricted range in Jamaica.

🧢 Hellshire is HOT — bring a hat, sunscreen & water.
🚗 Parking is limited, so please plan to carpool.
🏖️ Beach access at the end (optional swimming at your own risk).

Each participant gets a bird checklist & cactus ID card. Beginners welcome! Please register early, we have limited spaces!

Walk and bird from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM

BirdLife Ja will be hosting 15 children from the Salvation Army’s Nest Children’s Home at Hope Botanical Gardens by the Yellow Bandstand for a special bird-watching adventure on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This event is designed to give these children a memorable experience surrounded by nature, where they will learn about the beauty of birds and be treated with fun activities and treats!
