Asuda for Combating Violence Against Women ئاسودە Asuda is committed to equality and the empowerment of women. in acquiring the proper skills to become economically independent and self-reliant.

It provides protection services to women and girls through psychological support, social support, and legal support in-person and via a telephone hotline. Asuda works to combat violence against women and girls by advocating for women’s rights and providing quality multi-sectoral responses for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Asuda empowers women to actively contribute to their community and society, participate in decision-making processes, and lead the social, political, and economic transformation. Asuda supports vulnerable women and girls socially and economically (widows, IDPs, refugees, FHH, etc.) Asuda’s three domains of work are Protection and Awareness, Emergency Response, and Advocacy.

The Lawyer will provide confidential and survivor-centered legal support to women and girls, including survivors of violence and other vulnerable individuals. Asuda Organization, in partnership with Prof. Dr. Alia F***j, implemented a long-term training program for the staff of the Children’s Home, with the main aim of strengthening their personal and professional capacities.

The program covered a range of topics related to personal development, interpersonal and social communication, as well as effective approaches to education and working with children. The training content was delivered through practical and evidence-based methods designed to enhance participants’ skills and professional capacities.

At the conclusion of the program, Ms. Tara Salar, Head of the Children’s Home, presented an appreciation award to Asuda Organization and Prof. Dr. Alia F***j in recognition of their efforts and contribution to staff capacity development and the improvement of the working and educational environment.

The Hurra Coalition is a regional network of feminist and human rights organizations across the Middle East and North Africa working to reform discriminatory family laws and ensure equality and justice for women and girls.
