Representing Indian Plastics Federation, Shri Amit Agarwal - President & Shri Saurabh Garodia - Hony Secretary were honoured to attend the felicitation ceremony of Shri Shamik Bhattacharya - Member of Parliament & State President - BJP Paschim Bengal, hosted by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

They had the opportunity to present a memento and brief him about INDPLAS 27 and the growing strength of the plastics industry. With over 5,000 operational units and employment generation exceeding 10 lakh people directly and indirectly, the plastics industry continues to be one of the fastest-growing sectors in West Bengal.

In his address, Shri Bhattacharya strongly spoke against syndicate culture, cut-money practices, and unlawful interference in industries, while emphasizing transparent and industry-friendly governance.

He also highlighted the government’s focus on a new land policy and industrial incentive schemes to attract investments and boost employment.
