When curiosity travels across borders, meaningful connections follow. 🌏

We were delighted to welcome 10 students and a faculty member from Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, New Zealand, to the Sasha headquarters in Kolkata as part of their India Immersive Experience, organised by NIFT.

Recipients of the prestigious Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia (PMSA), the group explored the heritage and technical mastery of Indian crafts and textiles — through conversations with the Sasha team, an exploration of our handcrafted products and a visit to the Jamdani and Tangail weavers in Phulia, rural Bengal.

The visit connected cultures through the enduring story of craft. ✨

Some projects become more than work—they become a part of your heart. 🤍

Revisiting one such journey with our Cretaive head Tanvi Gurnani !

It has never been just about handloom. It's about the women weavers coming together, sharing stories, supporting one another, and weaving hope into every thread. Every weave carries patience, resilience, tradition, and the quiet strength of hands that create with love.

On , we celebrate not just the fabric, but the women weavers behind it—their craft, their courage, and the communities they continue to build, one loom at a time.

Here's to preserving traditions, creating livelihoods, and honouring every hand that weaves a brighter future. 🌾✨
